Second world league tournament - Athens, May 30.
Without four players in Athens
On the second World league tournament on 30th May in Athens,
Montenegro will be without four important players: Nikola Janovic and
Boris Zlokovic will be resting after an exhausting season, while
Mladjan Janovic and Damjan Danilovic travel back to France, to play
for their club, Marseille.
Petar Porobic (Montenegro coach): This is the start of very busy
summer and I expected the team to be in this shape, even though we
were playing a bit worse then I hoped. Important thing is that players
don't lack motive, even after exhausting season. We won all three
games despite not playing great and making a lots of mistakes.
Damjan Danilovic: In every match on tournament we were better then in one before, that is certainly encoraging. Once again against Croatia, that had a great game, we were in good attacking form.
Predrag Jokic: Croats showed that they are in the better form them we are at the moment. Winning wasn't a must for them in this match, so they were relaxed in that way. I am sure we will reach top form very soon.
Emil Nikolic (Croatia coach): It was a great match. We played great against stronger rival. It is great to see these young players play this good. Congratulations to Montenegro on win, and thanks o our hosts for making us feel at home.
