From 23rd to 25th of May, in Budva, first preliminary tournament of European zone of World League will be held. Except the host, Montenegro, national teams of Italy, Greece and Croatia will also participate.
Senior national team will prepare in Kolasin
From 14th to 18th of May, in Kolasin, our national team will start preparations for number of competitions this summer. At the same time, in Herceg Novi and Kotor, group of players that were not invited to Kolasin, but are still in Porobic's plans, will train.

20.04.2008. Montenegro under 17 failed to win gold or silver medal on Balkan championship in Igalo. Our boys made few mistakes in the finish of the game against Serbia letting the opponent win by big margin. Because of the goal difference, Montenegro finished the championship on third place.

Competition will start tomorrow at 5:30pm, with the match between Bulgaria and Greece. Later that day Serbia will play Romania and, after the opening ceremony - Herceg Novi mayor Dejan Mandic will open the tournament - our team will play their first match against Turkey.

Montenegro to prepare for Olympic games in China
17.04.2008. Montenegro water polo national team arranged preparations for Olympic games in China in August. Our team was already in China, in January, while Chinese were our guests this month. They trained together with our three strongest clubs - Primorac, Budvanska Rivijera and last week with Jadran CKB. While They were here, they had a formal dinner with the members of our federation, as well as Chinese ambassador Li Mancang and his wife.
Seven days pre-olumpic preparations will be held in one of Chinese cities, after which our team will travel to Beijing to Olympics

20.02.2008.Today, in Hotel Splendid in Becici, Petar Porobic and VPSCG have signed five year long contract. Both sides expressed their happiness with the deal and, as vice president of VPSCG said - winner is Montenegrin water polo.

with Greece, Serbia and USA. After that, on 27th "reds" will be in
Beijing, training with Chinese national team.

14.02.2008.13 players, chosen by Petar Porobic for this first part of preparations for Beijing and Malaga, are working very hard in Magdeburg, Germany. The host is doing everything possible to make our team feel at home. Players have all they need at the hand - in the morning they work out in the gym, later they work in the water. At evenings they train together with German team.

28.11.2007. Judging by tonight's match, montenegrin national team won't have any problems to qualify for European Championships in Malaga 2008. German national team was heavily defeated, 15:8. Already after first quarter period it was clear what will be the final outcome - clear and deserved win for Montenegro. Ivovic was top scorer with 5 goals, Uskokovic 3, Gojkovic and Danilovic scored 2 goals each.
Qualifying tournament for European Championship - Malaga 2008
25.12.2007. Between 26th and 30th December, as well as 2nd and 3rd January, Montenegrin national team will prepare for qualifying tournament for European Championship in Malaga. The tournament will be held in Dubrovnik (CRO) from 4th to 6th January 2008. Friendly game between Montenegro and Germany on Water Polo Night in Budva is part of preparations.
Following national teams will participate on the qualifying tournament, besides Montenegro: tournament host - Croatia, Slovenia and United Kingdom. Two teams will qualify for European Championship.
Water Polo Night
We wish to inform you that "Water Polo Night" will be held on Dragan Trifunovic pool in Budva on 28th of December at 18h.
National teams of Germany and Montenegro will play a friendly match. The trophies for winners of youth leagues will be handed, as well as 2nd League winner trophy. This will also be the first Montenegrin captain Mirko Vicevic's farewell game.
The event will be broadcasted live on national TV.
