In a hard-fought match of the first day of EuroLeague, Jadran CKB was defeated at home by Mladost Zagreb, 7:11.
Mladost was ahead the whole match, while Jadran only managed to equalize on several occasions. In the second quarter, Croatians had three goal lead - 6:3. Vukcevic and Elez scored two goals for Jadran and the result after first half of the game was 6:5 for Mladost. Third quarter started with Jadran's equalizer, but shortly after that, Elez was excluded for third time which proved to be crucial - Jadran didn't have adequate cover for him. Mladost had two goals lead at the end of the third period, and they increased it in final period of the game and took very important away win.
Jadran will play against Olympiakos in Athens on 8th of December in the next round of EuroLeague.
