MONTENEGRINS WON BOTH MATCHES AGAINST CHINA

Adaptation time over

01.03.2008. Pre-Olympic euphoria is obvious on every step in Beijing. Olympic swimming pool and other sports objects left quite an impression on every member of our team. Except training with China and siteseeing, on of the goals of this trip to China was to try to establish good relations with Chinese federation and to try to schedule pre-olympic preparations.         

  - Adaptation time is behind us and trainings are as intensive as they should be. We had to matches with our hosts, we won both of them. Chinese are showing signs of progress in their game, it is clear that they want to perform good on Olympics - said captain Veljko Uskoković.

                Beijing seems more then ready for the Olympic games.

                - I don't think there's any product in Beijing shops that doesn't have Olympic sign on it. In Beijing downtown there a giant screen that is showing Olympic games related program 24 hours a day - said VPSCG manager Milos Mracevic

                The only problem that "reds" had on the first day is solved:

                - We had that problem with food, so we contacted ou embassy and Ljiljana Toskovic, empoyee of Montenegrin embassy in Beijing helped us to find a restaurant with European food. Now, everything is great and we can say that Chinese are great hosts - said Petar Porobic
