MONTENEGRIN WATER POLO EXPEDITION VISITED SPORTS COMPLEX IN BEIJING

Everything looks impressive


29.02.2008. Our water polo expedition was very impressed with how all the sport objects in Beijing look. Birds nest, Water square, Jing Tung swimming pool – left members of our team speechless.

- We didn't go to Olympic village, because it's still under construction, but the Olympic pool is quite impressive. Water square is unbelievable! It changes color, depending on the time of day. Football stadium is also amazing – said Dejan Adzic, general manager of VPSCG – interesting thing, that our hosts told us is students of 101th Gymnasium, about 4000 of them, will support Montenegro on the Olympics. Every school was given the instructions about which country they will support on the Olympics.

As for preparations, everything is going accoring to plan. Our and Chinese national team work together every day.
- We are going through this adaptation period. Players are still a bit tired, but I expect tomorrow to be a lot different, a lot more like what we've seen in Germany and back home, when we trained with Canada
