08.09.2007.Montenegrin water polo national team reached the final of Bratislava qualifying tournament for Olympic games, defeating Russia in semi final 12:5 ( 1:1; 6:0; 3:2; 2:2).
Our team defeated Russia easier then it was expected. Russians only lead at the beginning – 1:0. After that, Montenegro controlled the game, leading 7:1 at the half time, so the only question was what will the goal difference be at the end.
Montenegro will play against Romania in the final, and the winner of that game goes to Olympic games in Beijing 2008.
