In the opening game of Bratislava tournament, Montenegro squad won the game against Italians-12:8(4-2; 4-2; 3-4; 1-0)
In what was probably the best game Montenegrin team has played since it was formed, our players were a lot better then Italy and were dominating the whole game, despite of aggressive and, at the moments, even dirty play of Italian-Calcaterra injured Jokic hitting him in the eye. However, Jokic came back to play in third quarter even scoring a goal.
In the third quarter, our lead was reduced to 8:7, but Nikola Janovic and Aleksandar Ivovic then scored 2 very important goals and made it clear who is going to be the winner.
