Athens tournament starts today
First match against Greece
22.02.2008. Montenegrin national team will, tonight at 8:30 PM play the premiere match on the Athens tournament, against the host. Tomorrow, “reds” will play against Serbia, while on Sunday. The last day of tournament, Montenegro will play agains USA.
- Greeks will certainly be very motivated to play the best they can, since they are hosts. We've beaten them in World League without any problems, but I am certain that tonight will be different. It will be hard game. Let's not forget that they have Olympics qualification tournament in Romania soon, so the every match is very important to them, in order to prepare for tournament in Romania – said Aleksandar Ivovic.
Still, there's no doubt that the tournament derby will be the game between Montenegro and Serbia tomorrow.
- We will be very motivated for that game. Serbia has more experienced players, but that doesn't have to mean anything, because we are on the same level of quality and physical and tactical preparation.
